Music gives a soul to the universe,
Wings to the mind,
Flight to the imagination,
And life to everything.

Cinderella
Recently, the whole School visited The Waterside Theatre in Aylesbury to see the pantomime Cinderella.
Everyone walked to the theatre and then enjoyed the show. We even had an ice cream during the interval!
Dragonfly class said 'it was so funny! It made us laugh lots. Another child said "It was really good and I didn't get wet when they fired the water guns. I've never been here before."
Singing
Why not teach your parents some of the songs we sing at school.
Mrs Granville’s son Tom, who is a music teacher, has recorded some songs for you.
Click on the video and then the link to YouTube to play the video and have a go.
Why not sing along and use any instruments you have to accompany you.
Take a photo and send it in.
Have fun!
Listening to music
I hope you are all enjoying our music activities.
Here is a really interesting video for you to watch.
Click on the Youtube link and watch a synchronised rollercoaster ride to the music of
The 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky.
The coaster twists and turns with the music, as well as triggering special effects that match the beat. The sound of the cannons are coming from the music, not the roller coaster.
Maybe you could find an instrument and join in with the music!
Enjoy 😊
Composing music
Let's all have some fun learning about rhythm and experimenting with music. Use the links and documents below to take part in a fun and exciting activities! BBC Bring the Noise is an interactive resource which enables the children to join in with the music. Give it a try!
