At Broughton Infant School we think it is important to provide additional experiences for pupils around the school day to develop their interests and learning further. This also gives children the opportunity to undertake activities with others beyond their own class and who have similar interests.
The school runs a range of clubs for KS1 children on a half termly basis. These are rotated to provide a wide variety and, hopefully, to appeal to the interests of all of our pupils. Clubs that run over lunchtime are managed around meal sittings and after school clubs commence immedicately at 3.00pm for approximately one hour. We do not charge for school clubs, although some, such as Cookery Club, may request a small fee in order to supply materials. Please do encourage your child to apply for any clubs they may be interested in.
Outside providers, such as Hercules Sports, also run after school clubs and for which parents are required to pay fees directly to the provider.
